About us
ēkot turns post-consumer textile waste into certified circular raw material for industry, with every batch tracked end-to-end so buyers can trace its origin.
Our model
We operate a circularity-as-a-service model. Partners keep their existing collection, retail and site operations. We take the material, treat it to specification, and hand back both usable raw material and evidence showing where it came from and what it saved.
The physical operation and the software are deliberately connected. The node proves the method and generates trustworthy data. ēkotrace turns that data into something an auditor will accept.
Where we are today
ēkot was founded in February 2026. We filed a provisional patent for ēkotrace with IPONZ in May 2026. Our research with the University of Waikato explores textile fibre in concrete, resulting in two completed dissertations. We have active discussions with recovery, materials, and research partners, and are negotiating our first commercial pilots. We prefer to share facts, as circularity is often overstated.
